SEO Specialist

The SEO Specialist owns the hands-on execution of data-driven search engine optimization strategies that grow organic visibility, website traffic, and conversions for client websites. This is a highly implementation-focused role that blends technical and creative SEO. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about helping brands grow through search.

Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Setup

  • Onboard new SEO clients into tracking and reporting systems (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.).
  • Conduct comprehensive initial SEO audits to surface issues and opportunities across technical, on-page, and off-page areas.
  • Use data to clearly communicate ROI and strategic value to clients, including reporting of KPIs and recommendations.

Keyword Research & Content

  • Perform in-depth keyword research to identify target terms and opportunities based on client products, services, and local markets.
  • Implement on-page optimizations including page titles, meta descriptions, header tags (H1s, H2s), internal linking, and structured data where applicable. • Produce longform and FAQ-structured content that strengthens topical relevance.

Technical SEO

• Identify and resolve technical issues affecting SEO performance, including site speed, indexing, canonicalization, redirects, and crawlability. • Deliver clear technical recommendations to developers and oversee implementation through to completion.

Local SEO

  • Audit and maintain local listings across Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing Places, and other directories.
  • Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across the web.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced digital environment.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and common website CMS platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the real estate or multifamily industries strongly preferred.
